The implementation of these regulations is ensured by authorized personnel empowered to enforce its provisions by issuing instructions to visitors. In the event of non-compliance, and particularly when the observed breaches jeopardize the safety of property and persons, the Oniria team reserves the right to assess the need to expel the offender(s). Last entry for a visit is 1 hour before the establishment closes. If Oniria is required to close completely during certain periods of the year for works and maintenance, these periods are indicated on the website: www.oniria.fr In the event of excessive crowding, disturbances, or any situation endangering the safety of persons and property, ticket sales may be partially or completely suspended, admissions may be interrupted, or the establishment may be fully or partially closed at any time of the day, or opening hours may be modified. No refund of the admission ticket can be claimed under the application of this article. Tickets and any other entitlements are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, revocable, and void if altered. The ticket must be used by the same person during its period of validity. The ticket is valid for one entry only. The resale of tickets is prohibited on-site and\/or on the web or any other location. No commercial activity may take place within the building without the prior agreement of Oniria.<\/p>\n
Do not apply graffiti, inscriptions, marks, dirt, or damage anywhere in the establishment. Anyone caught in the act may be expelled without any claim to a refund. The establishment reserves all rights to legal action. Do not throw anything into the tanks. Do not suspend anything over the tanks.<\/p>\n
Visitors must not run.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Visitors must wear appropriate street clothing under all circumstances.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
For the comfort of our visitors, smoking cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or any other vapor-emitting product is strictly prohibited throughout the entire establishment, including open areas of the tour.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Visitors must give priority to persons with reduced mobility in areas reserved for their use.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Visitors must not disturb other visitors by any noisy behavior, notably by listening to radios or MP3 devices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Visitors must not spit into the aquarium water, on the ground, or discard chewing gum.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Do not leave children unattended; otherwise, the establishment cannot be held liable. Visitors under 13 years of age must be accompanied by a visitor aged 18 or older to enter the establishment and take the tour. Any lost child will be entrusted to a host\/hostess who will take them to the reception desk in the main hall.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not use the stairs and adventure courses of the Canigou ascent, as well as the Jungle course, with a child in a stroller.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not cross safety barriers; do not sit or stand on railings and guardrails, or place children on ledges.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not lean or lean a child over the surface of the water.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Respect all specific instruction and prohibition signs placed along the tour route.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Report any accident, illness, or abnormal event to a staff member. In the event of illness or accident, victims are attended to by the Center’s security service. At the onset of a fire, the utmost calm must be observed. Everyone is required to assist the staff when visitor cooperation is requested, in accordance with Article R642-1 of the French Criminal Code.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
All persons, bags, parcels, or other items may be subject to a security check at the entrance of the establishment, as well as inside, depending on the circumstances or in response to requests made by public authorities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
We reserve the right to prohibit visitors from bringing bags, parcels, or other items inside the establishment. These two clauses may be integrated into the article below.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
During peak hours, the aquarium reserves the right to limit access to single and\/or double strollers to ensure a more comfortable visit for all guests and a smoother flow of traffic throughout the exhibition areas. Baby carriers are available free of charge, subject to availability. An ID card will be required as a deposit for the duration of the visit. The baby carrier is loaned free of charge for the duration of the visit. Parents remain responsible for securely placing and supervising their child. It is mandatory to respect the weight limits and manufacturer’s instructions.<\/p>\n
Wheeled equipment, such as skateboards, bicycles, skates, or shoes with built-in wheels.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Any type of trailer or wagon.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Suitcases, coolers, and backpacks, with or without wheels, exceeding the following dimensions: 61 cm long x 38 cm wide x 46 cm high (24 in x 15 in x 18 in).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Alcoholic beverages or any illegal substance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Weapons of all types, or objects that can be used as weapons (even if fake or harmless), and any dangerous object or product.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Pets or other animals are prohibited, except for approved service animals (e.g., service dogs). Service animals must remain under the control of their owner at all times, on a leash or harness.<\/p>\n
Do not use flashes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Professional photography, filming, radio, or television broadcasting are subject to prior special authorization from the establishment manager.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not use selfie sticks (extension poles held in the hand to hold cameras and mobile devices).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Visitors are requested to:<\/p>\n
Do not tap on the glass of aquariums and enclosures, and do not use objects or products likely to damage them (keys, jewelry, perfume, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not throw projectiles against the aquarium glass or bring any heat source near it (lighter flame, hot source lamp). Do not throw or drop anything into the aquariums or enclosures (paper, litter, coins, etc.), and if this occurs, report it immediately to the reception staff.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not shout or make noises likely to frighten the animals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not dazzle animals with flashes, laser pointers, or various lights such as torches or mobile phones.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not mistreat or make sudden movements towards animals that you are permitted to touch, and do not remove them from the water. Do not try to hold back an animal that is trying to move away, or block its path.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not feed the animals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not submerge parts of the body other than hands in the aquariums designated for this purpose.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Do not eat or drink picnics along the visitor route.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Do not leave food scraps or packaging behind. A large number of selective sorting bins are available to visitors to collect waste and litter. Do not throw or stick chewing gum.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Visitors are responsible for their personal belongings, including clothing, bags, glasses, cameras, etc., without recourse against Oniria in the event of disappearance or damage.<\/p>\n
For greater visiting comfort and a better distribution of groups throughout the day, prior reservation is mandatory for groups of 15 or more people, including the leader or accompanying guide. Direct groups will not be eligible for commercial agreements such as Tour Operator (TO) rates or deferred payment (client debit). The admission of reserved groups into the establishment is subject to the presentation of an entry ticket for each member of the group at the access control. Upon arrival, the group leader must go alone to the group ticket counter with the reservation confirmation previously sent to them. They must provide a method of payment and an ID card in case of payment by check. They must know the actual size of the group. Any over-purchased tickets will not be refunded. They will be informed when their group can enter the establishment. Self-guided group visits are conducted under the leadership of a responsible person who undertakes to enforce all of these regulations and ensure group discipline. Group visitors must not, under any circumstances, disturb other visitors. Each member of the group must remain close to the leader. School groups are under the responsibility of their teacher(s) and\/or chaperone(s), who must supervise their students’ behavior.<\/p>\n
