Ocean depths

As you descend into the ocean depths, things gradually get darker and darker. Sunlight struggles to penetrate the depths, and the water takes on a darker shade of blue as it leads you ever downwards into its ocean abysses.

Gradually sink deeper and discover the biodiversity of the Mediterranean on your journey to the Strait of Gibraltar. Rocky shallows that are teeming with life, lawns of posidonia, canyons… You’ll soon leave the shores behind and dive down into the ocean depths. It’s a guaranteed hit of adrenaline when you come face-to-face with a giant squid in a unique 3D experience!

Can you guess what lives in the deepest waters? As the light fades, you’ll sink down into an oceanic trench! When tectonic plates collide, the ground begins to tremble and, surrounded by undersea volcanoes 3000 m below sea level, you’ll gaze in wonder at larger-than-life lava flows. This is a field of hydrothermal vents along the great Mid-Atlantic Ridge.

Now it’s time to return to the surface via a secret passage through a Mexican cenote. It’s a chance to see the weird and wonderful animals that live in the caves, like the strange fish that are completely blind.
